Going Global took place in London on the 17th and 18th of November and principally aimed to exhibit international expansion alternatives to British Companies. The Ecuadorian British Chamber participated in this event with the support of IBD-MC Ltd and the S2M Foundation.

Mónica Costales, CEO of IBD-MC Ltd shared her experience of Going Global with LINKS:

“Being a part of “Going Global”, a top business event in London and being invited as an expert speaker, I had the opportunity to present and promote the region of Latin America through the theme “Retailer’s International Strategic Expansion – Doing Business in Latin America”. It allowed us to present a region which is attractive to future investments, with a lot of potential to expand operations and the search for strategic partners. My exhibition showed a real vision and the possible future changes as well as getting to know markets in the Andean area with an emphasis on Ecuador and which haven’t yet been used to their full potential.”

“Through my participation in “Going Global”, I have been able to strategically strengthen the network of British companies who are interested in supporting my vision of international business development in areas such as logistics, distribution and consultancy services such as importations, exportations, legal and accounting.”

“Likewise, the promotion of the commercial mission for “Going Global” along with the Ecuadorian British Chamber enabled the successful participation of the initiative Sapap-Entsa, supported by the S2M Foundation, represented by Roberto Salazar who was accompanied at the mission by authorities and directors of the Morona Santiago Province”
